Names like Tory Lanez and A$ap Ferg should sound familiar to you and if they don't I'd highly recommend that you look them up. These two artists have had number-one hip-hop songs and great careers so far. Recently, they released a song called "Line up the Flex" together so it's only right that they go on tour together. The tour is called A$ap FergXTory Lanez The Level Up Tour starting May 18 and ending June 24. It will be stopping in 25 cities from Philadelphia, Penn. to New York, N.Y.
Now onto a little background info on these two. Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, is out of Toronto, Canada and recently his career has taken off with his song "Say It." He dropped two mixtapes named "Chixtape 3" and "The New Toronto" in the last few months, and both showcase his abilities. "Chixtape 3" showcases his singing talents and "The New Toronto" showcases his rapping skills.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of Lanez so much so that I went to see him for an early birthday gift to myself. We even hung out at the meet and greet and had an amazing conversation. So I'm excited for this tour already.
Now onto A$ap Ferg. His real name is Darold Ferguson Jr., out of Harlem, NYC. He's probably best known for his song "Shabba" feat. A$ap Rocky and "Work" and the remix; he had names such as French Montana and Trinidad James on the track. Recently, he did a song with Future, another familiar name, called "New Level" and I must admit that the song is fire.
A$ap Ferg and Tory Lanez are two artists that bring high energy to their performances, so I don't expect a regular concert, I'm ready for it to be L-I-T, LIT! I know it will be just that, so if you don't have any plans, check to see if they'll be in your city. As for me, I know where I'll be May 26, at Cain's Ballroom, screaming every song. Hopefully, I'll have the chance to meet not only Tory Lanez again but A$AP Ferg as well. I know the concert will not disappoint. Question is — are you ready to Level Up?
