The last time

It's crazy how sad something can be

When you experience it for the last time

You try to prepare yourself

Mentally, emotionally

But it's not easy

You KNOW that you'll never walk into a practice with this team again

You KNOW you'll never perform with this team again

Yet saying goodbye is just so hard

It's even harder,

When it's unexpected

When you DON’T know that you'll never walk into a practice with this team again

And you DON‘T know that you'll never perform with this team again

It hits a little harder

We didn't know it was going to be over

Yet we pushed so hard and improved so much

Just to be deprived of the opportunity to show it off

It's out of our control

There was nothing we could do

All we could do is what we had always done

Our best

And although right now we're saying goodbye,

We will make sure to say hello again in the future

For those of you who have more time,

Love your team

Believe in your team

Believe in yourself

And work hard for your dreams

They won't come easy

But they will be so worth it in the end

Even, if you don't know it's the end.
