The last week of second semester is crucial. It's where you grades can either boost your GPA or bring it down so low that you're ready to ball your eyes out. Professors don't realize that you already have more than enough work than you can handle so they decide to pile on some more just for fun. To top it off, you also have to study for finals, and you have no motivation left.

1. The Motivation is All Gone

You've got 2 papers left, 4 projects, and a million other things to do but all you can think about is sleeping and watching Netflix.

2. When You Realize You'll Be a Senior Next Semester

It seems like just yesterday you were a freshman, and now you're about to be a senior in college realizing that you have no clue what you're doing with your life.

3. You're All Out of Dining Dollars

The time has come where you can no longer eat at the best place on campus, and you realize that you probably shouldn't have used up all your dining dollars at once.

4. Realizing You'll Have to Leave Your Friends

Just thinking about not seeing all your friends from school until the fall semester makes you want to cry. You desperately wish that your friends didn't live so far away from one another.

5. Finals Are a Week Away and You're Not Even Prepared

On one hand you know you need to study, but on the other hand you can't focus when summer is just around the corner.

6. Realizing Your GPA Will Either Sink or Swim

You could either ace that class or fail it depending on the final. It's at a make it or break it point.

7. You're So Sick of the Dining Hall Food

Realizing that you really only have one full week left of dining hall food and moments where you'd rather skip that meal instead of chancing it at the dining hall. You'll finally have real food again.

8. You Don't Have Any Summer Clothes

The days are suddenly getting warmer, but all you have in your closet is sweats and sweatshirts. Not even a pair a flip flops to wear on those 80 degree days.

9. Realizing You Shouldn't Have Brought So Much Stuff

When it comes time to pack up you begin to realize that you probably didn't need to bring half your wardrobe since you didn't wear any of it.

10. You're All Out of Snacks in Your Room

When that hunger suddenly hits and you don't feel like leaving your room, and you realize that you'll just have to wait it out.

11. You'll Do Anything For the Semester to be Over

You just want to be home and will do anything to make time pass faster, but then for a moment you realize that once summer comes you'll want to be back at school.

The end of the spring semester is what every college looks forward to, but it's also the worst time. While it's hard to say bye to your friends for the summer, it's easy leaving all your books and thoughts about classes and assignments for the next 3 months. Before you know it you'll be back to procrastinating.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
