Congratulations, you have made it to the last week of classes!! After a long and arduous semester, I think we can all agree that this final week should be a relaxing time to reflect on the hard work you have done the last 4 months. BUT, it is actually the complete opposite... I'll let our buddies in Parks and Recreation tell it like it is!

1. When you realize this is the last week of office hours:

Basically scrambling to meet your professors to get in their good graces before the final next week.

2. When you pull all-nighters finishing up your 10-page papers, final projects, and presentations for the week:

Everyone has conspired against me to make this the worst week of my life.

3. When you dress up for class to show your professor that you care before Finals Week starts:

Because you're practically going to be living in sweatpants next week during finals.

4. When you think about everything you have to do for the week:

Stressin' all day, every day.

5. And, while you're stressing, you eat everything in sight:

Stress-eating is SO real.

6. And load up on caffeine:

Just my millionth cup of coffee tonight, no big deal.

7. When you practically live in the library:

A place where you're surrounded by people suffering in similar situations as you.

8. Having existential crises at 2 in the morning becomes the norm:

What am I majoring in? What do I even want to do with my life? What is life???

9. Actually, what even is sleep?

What is this "sleep" you speak of?

10. Between the piles of homework, you come to the realization that this is practically your last week with all of your friends:

Because the entire campus is dead during Finals Week.

11. When your professor adds extra work that wasn't on the syllabus at the last minute:

I was planning on that one hour of sleep tonight, but I guess it's now going to be spent doing this random assignment.

12. When your mom sends you the "just one more week of classes!" text, which gets you super excited:

SUMMER IS COMING!!

13. But, then you realize, "Oh my God, just one more week of classes..."

Well, this week snuck up on me...

14. So, then you frantically text everybody you know to hold emergency group sessions:

Let's freak out about this upcoming exam together!!! It'll be fun!!

15. You start reviewing:

This is EASY, I got this final!

16. ...And, keep reviewing:

Did we even learn this???

17. But, then you realize it'll all be worth the stress, tears, and all-nighters because summer is just around the corner!

You got this!!!

18. ...But, first, you have to get through Finals Week...

Ah, there's the catch...

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
