Spring break is officially over. Say goodbye to the sandy beaches and yummy mimosas, because it's crunch time. There's a consensus among us college kids that the worst part of the school year is that little window between spring break, and summer break. After a little soul searching, I've found it to be 100 percent true. After tasting the freedom of having no assignements awaiting your attention, there is just no turning back. School becomes 10 times harder to get through during the final stretch.

1. Returning to school after a fun filled, stress free spring break

You've had a small taste of freedom and you're forever changed (at least for the remainder of this semester)

2. Overall mood

You just can't bear the endless nights of studying any longer.

3. When your parents ask you how your first week back to school was

Sums up pretty much every week.

4. Trying to remain positive

We got this.

5. When your roommate wants to go out on a Tuesday night

6.Trying to make actual meals in an everlasting time crunch that is the second half of spring semester

7. When you realize you'll have 3 papers 4 quizzes and 2 exams every week for the remainder of the semester

Im convinced the teachers get together and plan everything for the same days.

8. When your bff reminds you that you were going to study, instead of going out

That was 8pm. It's now 9pm and I've changed.

9. Dreaming of Summer break

Literally counting down.

10. When you make a C- on your exam

It's an accomplishment.

11. When your teacher asks the class a question but no one reads the material anymore

Please, please, please don't pick me!

12. Contemplating dropping out

A few times daily.

13. Asking yourself why you are the way you are

At this point, it is what it is.

Hang in their folks! It will all be worth it when it's over, and you'll feel oh so good!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
