As someone who has gone to the same school every day for the past fifteen years, I believe I can say that these last twenty days are NOT fun.

Here's why the last twenty day of high school are the worst twenty days of high school.

1. The work: Right about now teachers are beginning to discover that we seniors have somehow wasted the whole year and now need to learn about eleven more chapters to graduate. This means we probably have a test, quiz, paper, and project due next week on material we still have yet to learn.
2. The college plan: On top of all this work, everyone, and I mean everyone, is asking us about college. Between all the study sessions we need to decide if we're going to college, decide where we're going to college, and find money to somehow pay for college.
3. The friendships: One more thing to add to all of these stressors is that in the last twenty days we need to come to terms with the fact that we are leaving our best friends. This is- by far- the worst thing about the last twenty days of high school. And I know we have all prayed for these final days, but this part was never intended.

So please, last twenty days of high school, take your time.
