One of the first things I tell anyone about myself is that I LOVE cats. When I was in third grade my mom got my sister and I each a cat. Ever since, our house has been filled with silliness, snuggles, and of course, lots of hair. Here are seven things you're bound to experience if you have owned a cat.

1. Random attacks on your feet.

Anyone who owns a cat, especially a younger one has had their fair share of surprise attacks. Cats will stalk their prey (in this case your feet) and pounce when then feel the time is right.

2. Drinking from your water glass.

For some reason every cat I have been around just needs to share my water with me even if their dish is full. You can never leave glasses out on the table because the minute you walk away your cat's face will be inside it.

3. Snuggles at all the wrong times.

Cats are known for being aloof and cold towards their owners. Anyone who has a cat knows that this can not be any less true, they just have terrible timing. Just when you need to get something done your cat will be right there to make sure it doesn't happen before they get snuggles.

4. They bring you presents.

Many outdoor cats will leave part of an animal they have killed on the door step of their owner's house. My cats were strictly indoor cats, so they replaced half-eaten animal remains with a sock they would put in their water dish.

5.They knock everything over.

Cats will often bump things with their tails or try to play with something that just falls over. Either way, most of your belongings at some point, even the breakable ones, will end up on the floor.

5. They freak out at random times.

Cats will sometimes have weird, random fits of energy where their eyes get big, their hair stands up straigh and they run like crazy through the house. I don't know why cats do this, but whatever the reason, it's pretty funny to watch.

6. They investigate everything and usually regret it.

I remember my cat went to go check out a grocery bag my mom just brought home. Seconds later he was running frantically throughout the house because he got it stuck on his tail. Cats will explore everything but often won't like the end results.

7. They get stuck in high places.

Cats love to survey their territories from high places but sometimes they climb a little too high.

Cats are wonderful pets and if you give them a chance, you are in for a lot of laughs.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
