Although it can be challenging at times, it is so important to be solid in what you believe in. Standing firm in your faith in a world filled with corrupted ways is part of what we are called to do as followers of Christ.
In college, you will, or may have already encountered different types of people or professors who make you question or doubt your faith. It is so important to keep in mind that they view the world through the eyes of man. As Christians, we are to view the world through what the gospel tells us. God's word speaks the truth and we must question if a situation or a decision lines up with what the bible says.
In college, a time of impressionable young adults trying to find their place in this world, faith is so important to keep. College will push you beyond your limits, stress you out, and teach you a lot about yourself. Christ brings peace through it all. You can choose to grow your faith during this time and rely on God or your faith won't be strong enough to get you through the first semester.
So if you are a follower of Christ and you are struggling with a firm foundation in your faith, let this be an encouragement to you. College is a time to grow and become stronger in your faith. Seek after Christ every day and it will bring you great joy and peace. In such a crucial time in our lives, we need God. Don't be easily influenced by peers or professors. Question certain things that are taught or said, challenge it. Be in the world but not of it. Follow Christ and not the ways of man.
