The Importance Of Communication

The Importance Of Communication
Philosophy For Change

One small thing can really change everything. It is a problem in every society, every social group, between friendships, relationship, everything. It is a fixable problem, no tools needed,no instruction manual, just an agreement between you and whoever else it may include.

Miscommunication

The failure to communicate adequately can be a hazard to your bondship with others, there needs to be a strong foundation in the relationship to completely understand not only WHAT is being said, but HOW it is being interpreted, People have different views, and different personalities. And I feel it is a terrible thing when a relationship or a friendship is diminished because one does not understand another.

How many times have you gotten in an argument or a disagreement with someone over what someone said, and then you later found out that that person meant something completely different from what was running through your head? How many times have you received a text from someone, read it, and didn’t understand what they meant by it. Could it have been an insult? A joke? or were they flirting?. Many forms.

Building a strong foundation with people should be a course of action that people take for not only this reason of miscommunication, but for many others as well.

It also comes down to understanding someone’s language. That does not always mean understanding the actual language that they speak, sometimes, it can mean understanding how they go about things, noticing the little things, maybe how sensitive they are or how hard-headed they can be. Their actions and personality traits as well, having a clear understanding that some thing’s may be hurtful to them, or, could be just hilarity.

Language is an unavoidable element of everyday life. It is arguably the most important medium by which humans communicate with one another. Without language, society would be a disorderly mess of miscommunication and ambiguity.

“The thing that I see that’s wrong with the world and the human predicament is lack of communication between human beings. It’s the way people are when it comes to communicating that keeps us from achieving real and total unity with one another. If people can’t agree one way or another on important issues that face them, how can they ever hope to achieve or defeat them?”

We will continue to run into situations in our daily lives that will require us to have a clear understanding with other people. Which is why we must communicate, without the “mis” in front of it.

When it comes to Bloomington-Normal, there are many outstanding factors that any Illinois State student can say are unique to our college town (and maybe others too). Proud or not, we Redbirds know all the ins and outs of Blono.

1. The wait for Buffalo Wild Wings is always going to be long on Thursday nights.

As hard as we try, it's nearly impossible to resist the 69-cent wings on a college student budget. Plus, they are always delicious!
