1. As soon as fall hits...

"Yes, fall! Pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin patches and haunted houses!"

2. Halloween approaches so fast, it's hard to pick out a costume.

"So many choices, how do I pick!?"

3. You eat almost all of your Halloween candy in one sitting.

"I regret nothing."

4. Deals for Christmas come out as soon as November starts, and you are very confused.

"Seriously. We just got into November. Can we at least get through Thanksgiving first?"

5. You head out on Black Friday to snag some deals on your favorites.

"Got my IAMS for half the original price. Score!"

6. After Thanksgiving dinner, you feel like you might explode.

"Why did I decide to have that third serving? Oh well... I will explode happy with life."

7. December comes and you are in full blown Christmas spirit.

"I am ready for joy and lights and cookies and presents."

8. You start to take your Christmas photos with ridiculous matching outfits.

"Why did I ever agree to this?"

9. You try to avoid that one person who keeps trying to kiss you under the mistletoe.

14. Like all great holidays, you eat a little too much.

"I'm not gaining weight... My fur is just a little long..."

15. Christmas is over and you don't understand why people keep on singing Christmas carols.

"We are done with that holiday. Stop it."

16. You get really dressed up for those New Year's parties.

"I look fabulous!"

17. You drink champagne and cheer to the new year.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
