SPOILERS ARE COMING

After months of waiting, the time has finally come to answer a lot of questions. What is Cersei going to do when she finds out that her daughter is dead? Is that the mountain with her and why is he blue? Did Brienne kill Stannis? Did Sansa and Theon survive that fall? But the biggest question of all... Is Jon Snow really dead?

I know, I know... I really shouldn’t be so optimistic about this, especially in a show where characters die left and right. However, with people like Melisandre lurking about Castle Black, I was hoping that there was still a chance.

Especially with how much attention she had been giving a lot of attention last season.

Tonight, the producers of the show made it quite clear that Jon Snow is dead. The episode starts out showing Davos and Jon’s friends finding him, as well as his Direwolf Ghost. Like seriously, where has he been?

They are debating whether or not they should fight against Thorne and the rest, but that would mean they would die. (It was them against 40). Melisandre does nothing about Jon’s death, and it seems that the fan theory about her reviving Jon might be false. *crushed dreams*

I know, Sam. I know.

Then, we move to Dorne where all seems fine and happy until Prince Doran receives a note stating that Princess Myrcella has been killed. That is when everything goes completely crazy where Ellaria (Oberyn’s lover) stabs Doran in the chest and tells him that Dorne needs a strong leader.

It then goes to the boat where Myrcella’s betrothed, Trystane, is. He is murdered by the sand snakes as well. What does this mean for Dorne? Who will be the new leader? We will have to wait to find out.

We then see Dany walking around with her hands together, which is weird to see. She is taken to the Khal of the Dothraki, where everyone is either calling her a witch or saying that they want to have sex with her.

*sigh*

She doesn't reveal that she can also speak Dothraki until the Khal tries to touch her. Then she reveals that she was Khal Drogo's wife. This is awesome, because this means that no man can touch her. However, when she asks to be taken back, the Khal tells her that she now must live with the rest of the widows. Uh oh. How is she going to get out of this?

At the end of the episode, we go back to the wall and see Melisandre, who is alone and undressing in her room. She keeps looking at herself in the mirror. She takes off a necklace that she has as well, but the camera is focused on the dirty mirror still. It looks like a person with blonde hair, but then it turns back to her and boom.

I mean, where did this come from? Of course, this is where the season premiere ends. I think this shows just how little we really know about Melisandre. Overall, this looks like season six is going to be a great season and full of action. I don’t know about anyone else, but I cannot wait until next Sunday.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
