I’ve been here. I’ve watched you cry for the past two weeks. I’ve watched time and time again as you fool everyone in believing you’re happy. But late at night I’m there as it all hits you. You thanked me for taking you out to the lame party only to end the night crying in the pouring rain because it hit you, it is over.
You were so happy with him. I could see it even in the way you spoke about him. Even when you were mad at him, you loved him with your entire existence. Of course you were happy with him, you didn’t see past his lies. None of us could.
