Mixed Feelings

The Head Banger

Sitting here, with the enemy and watching our famous NBA recall show. Both curious, will we talk about important things or just sit in silence? Our love is fighting for it. A dog, in an apartment, in the middle of transitioning. Transitioning from college, we're working, I'm thinking about the rest of my life. And we break up.

In the middle of the constant everyday love, he's not ready. Or, is it just not me, maybe I'm not the one. In my research and relationship experience, here's what I've found about run ins with cross roads when in comes to relationships. Can you wrap my mind around it?

It's apparent. "Don't downgrade your dreams to match you reality, upgrade you faith to match you destiny", Devon Franklin. Faith it up. According to being equally yoked. With any relationship, the values will demonstrate if you company is wort while. If anyone, relationship wise, isn't credible where are we left?

Still watching our recall show, Devon Franklin pulls a fast one. Megan Good and this man, Devon Franklin, actually wrote a bok about waiting until marriage to have relations. This is too powerful.

Any relationship,(mom, dad, sister, brother, boyfriend, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife) there is a table. This table is draped a base called lace. Upon other components of a health relationship, the lace is faith. Faith isn't always religious.

"Complete trust or confidence in someone or something", I know, according to google this is Faith. If broken down, there's a very fundament lining that's go-about-able. .

Trust. Confidence. Pulling these valuable words out of the definition of Faith, Devon Franklin seems to be on to something. With any relationship, trust and confidence, is a key component.

You you have confidence in your mother, or guardian, to have your back. When confiding in you friend about things that go done at you job, you trust them. You have faith and you trust in the Patriots or the Chief to win the Superbowl. Same with the relationship.

Google states relationships are, "The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected." Think about it, there's faith between people and how your can be connected. What about those people?

"..When a wife chooses to honor the model for marriage God instituted prior to the fall, the trajectory of such a marriage can be oriented toward the design that reflects the relationship..", www.thegospelcoalition.org. Don't mind the wife and God portion. . it's about being in the same situation in life, equally yoked. So what's next?

Important information here, keep the faith and stay humble. A saying from plenty of creditable individuals like Ralph Emerson, . Bottem line, like in my relationship, with a dog and in an apartment, we're in a relationship. It's about trust and confidence and the Chiefs. Keep the faith and stay humble.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
