Wait For The Guy Who

waiting patiently will save a lot of heartbreak.

Wait For The Guy Who

Tells you the truth.

In a relationship honesty really is the best policy. It is the most refreshing thing to have a guy be open and tell you what's up (even though he might tell you something you don't want to hear). Even if he tells you little white lies, move on.

Is supportive of your dreams.

Why would anyone want to be with someone who tells them their dreams are unrealistic? Having someone supportive means they will help you achieve your dreams or at least attempt to. In life you want someone to be reliable and to lift you up when you are following your dreams.

Loves your family.

This is a biggie. Granted there will be times family gets overbearing but wait for the guy who hangs out with your dad and talks to your siblings like they are his own.

Can make you laugh even when you are mad at him.

This is something so simple but it speaks volumes. I can never stay mad at my guy because he always finds a way to make me laugh (not that we get seriously mad at each other). This is something I love because no matter how much we annoy each other we can still maintain a healthy and playful relationship.

Communicates.

THIS. IS. HUGE. Communication is one of the most important parts of a relationship. Girls we are born with this communication gene, not all males are. Wait for the guy who doesn't have a problem communicating his feelings or thoughts.

Makes you cry.

HAPPY TEARS! I cannot count on 10 hands how many times my man has made me cry happy tears (I am emotional okay?). I am not afraid to show my emotions and sometimes it gets annoying but crying is not a bad thing- as long as it is happy tears coming down. This also solidifies that feelings are real.

Wants a future.

I was amazed that my boyfriend wanted a future and wasn't afraid to tell me. The best thing a guy can do because it shows he is ready to be serious and open with his girl. In my life I want to wait for one guy and if I wait for the guy that wants a future, I won't have to deal with heartbreak.

Sees only you.

Of course a guy will physically see other women, he has two eyes, but wait for a guy who doesn't care about other girls. He wants you and only you. He doesn't flirt or connect with other girls the way he does with you.

Loves you unconditionally.

If you gain a few pounds, have a bad day and cry, have trust issues from prior relationships, or you get moody, the guy you wait for will love you no matter what. Not every day will be butterflies and rainbows, and he should know and accept that.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. We are expected to study, have a social life, relationships, maybe work, and be healthy. It seems pretty easy to do, and in high school all we wanted to do was graduate and move on to this next chapter of our lives. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
