The Grinch is the ultimate sass-master, thus making him the perfect spirit animal for all basic girls across the globe.

The Grinch definitely Snapchats pictures of his Starbucks with the "Who-ville" geotag, wears workout clothes but doesn't workout, tweets at Justin Bieber, idolizes Lauren Conrad and gets his green color from all of the Kale he eats. It won't be long before his body is ombre and his wrists are tatted!


1. Throwing a tantrum when you don't know what to wear.



2. Setting unrealistic expectations to workout.



3. Attempting to diet, but failing.

4. Pretending to be a heartless b*tch to seem cool, but you’re actually full of emotion.

5. Pretending to love partying and going out.



6. But you really just love staying home.

7. Having unnecessary materialistic needs.



8. Scrolling through Instagram in disgust of people, you don’t like.



9. Only needing two drinks for the night because you’re a #lightweight.


10. Getting anxiety because your friends didn't give you enough time to get ready.


11. Complaining about your weight.


12. “Feeling yourself” on a Friday night.

13. Stalking your ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend but never admitting it.



14. Having a low level of patience and a high level of sass.

15. Planning out every second of your day to make sure you have some necessary “me time."


16. Complimenting your frienemies because playing nice is less exhausting than being mean.

17. Occasionally putting aside your sassy attitude to show sincere affection.



18. Finding ridiculous reasons to complain.


19. Irrationally self-loathing on a day you don’t look your best.



20. You roll your eyes more than you blink.



21. Insisting you’re not basic, but you know you are a little bit.
