"The Good Place" is one of the funniest and most interesting shows to ever air on television. It follows Eleanor Shellstrop, a woman who has died and gone to “the Good Place" in her afterlife as a reward for everything she did on Earth. The catch? Eleanor didn't actually do any of the things people think she did, and was a pretty bad person when she was alive.
Season 4 airs this Thursday at 9pm EST, and if you haven't watched the show yet, here are 6 reasons why it should be in your Netflix queue.
1. It stars Kristen Bell

I'm not 100% sure that Kristen Bell is a real person. She's beautiful, talented, and cries over sloths. Who isn't in love with her?
2. The humor is unique

Every writer on this show deserves an Emmy. You’ll often find yourself wondering, “how did somebody even THINK of that?”
3. The plot is unpredictable

I won't spoil anything, but let's just say you'll have no idea where it's going until you get there.
4. You'll learn about philosophy

Eleanor gets Chidi, a former professor of ethics and moral philosophy, to try to teach her how to be a good person. As Eleanor learns about famous philosophers and moral questions, we learn too (in the funniest way possible).
5. Janet

Janet is a source of all knowledge in the universe and also the best character on "The Good Place."
"Not a girl."
"Not a robot."
6. It’s a feel good show

Whenever I’m sad, I rewatch “The Good Place.” Whenever I’m happy, I rewatch “The Good Place.” No matter what, every episode leaves you with a smile on your face. (Except the Season 3 Finale. Come on guys, that one hurt.)
