The Good and Bad Aspects Of The Fall Semester

We Are All In The Same Boat

The Good and Bad Aspects Of The Fall Semester

Yeah, let us just take a moment to reflect that it is November 7th. That means we have less than a month until the fall semester ends and less than seven months until I receive the most expensive piece of paper I will ever own. Here are the ten ways you know the fall semester at SJU is slowly coming to an end.

1. You have more exams jam packed in one day for one class

Do less.

2. You have stopped caring on what you look like

Yeah, that whole 'I'm going to put effort today' went downhill.

3. You have almost gone cross eyed or your eyes are so dry from typing so many papers that you can barely see straight

My daily struggle.

4. If you are a senior and you are trying to land a job or attend law, med, or graduate school after this year it is the most painful and stressful time of the year. Thanks standardized exams....

Whoever invented the LSAT you are sick.

5. The only thing getting you through the month of November is Thanksgiving break

Blessed.

6. The stress of trying to land an internship for next semester has definitely increased

I personally feel your pain.

7. You get annoyed easily

Shootout to all of those couples who feel the need to stand in the middle of the walkway when everyone is walking to class because they clearly will not see each other.....until after their 50 min class.

8. You are over caffeinated every. single. day.

God bless the United States of America for coffee ILY.

9. You are so exhausted that you could literally sleep for a month

Pretty sure my spirit animal is a sloth.

10. The library is always jam packed it's like they are giving books and free things away

In reality they are not.

Just remember stay positive and we are all in the same boat!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
