The Glo-Up Plan And Why You Should Make One

As we go through life, we have to grow into the ideal person we imagine ourselves to be and this plan gives us an idea of who that person is

A "glo" up plan is basically a plan to better yourself. On social media, people usually see a glo-up as the process from turning unattractive to more attractive but I choose not to define it that way. I wanted to grow better as a person so my glo-up plan consists of internal and external changes. It doesn't really matter what you look like if your personality is not as great as it should be.

To get some idea of how to structure a glo-up plan, some things on my list are:

1. Exercise more

2. Learn how to budget

3. Reinvent my wardrobe

3.Try to be less irritated

4. Be less judgmental

5. Complain less

7. Get better at doing makeup

Along with a few more things, I would advise leaving some space because you might add to it later. I taped it up on my wall as a daily reminder, so I could try my best to actually follow it. I created this plan about a week ago and so far it is a challenge to do everything I have written on it. My friends are constantly reminding me when I'm violating the plan. I'm well aware it is going to take some time to make these changes, but I know that if I stay committed I'll eventually glo-up.

Don't be afraid to make one, even if there're only one or two things on it. Change is always good, especially if you're shaping yourself to be a better person.

When you come to college, you're starting a whole new chapter, so why not start it off as a whole new person? It's time to drop your high school habits because no one in college wants to deal with someone who still has the attitude and mentality of a high schooler.

The glo-up plan can help you mentally, physically, and spiritually, so if this has convinced you to make your own, I wish you luck!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
