It is November, so you know exactly what that means. The Gilmore Girls reunion is set to premiere on Netflix at the end of the month and fans all over the country are counting down the days like a six-year-old girl at Christmas time.

We the Gilmorians (yes this is a thing) are clutching onto our baseball caps and flannels waiting to see Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) sitting in Luke’s diner exchanging their usual witty banter over a cup of coffee because let's face it coffee and oxygen are all you need. Here is the trailer for those of you who have yet to watch it:

This is exactly what the creator Amy Sherman-Palladino had in mind when reuniting her entire cast for the four-part mini-movie series entitled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Although we are all planning to binge watch the four mini-movies in one seating she has another plan in mind.

Knowing that we are all major super fans she expects nothing less than for us to cuddle into bed with a cup of coffee and have no plans to see the light of day until the credits roll on the final episode. Well so that we can all get our fair share of coffee AND fresh air she plans to release them each a day apart. This will all be worth it though because Sherman-Palladino has been able to gather her whole cast for one last hoorah, even Suki (Melissa McCarthy).

The trailer shows every character returning even the trifecta of Rory’s boyfriends Dean (Jared Paledecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), and Logan (Matt Czuchry). Although there will be one cast member missing and that will be Richard (Edward Herrmann) who passed away in 2014.

All of the Gilmorians have enjoyed the nonstop teasing ever since the reunion was announced. From the first teaser trailer to a photo of a lamp leaked from the Warner Bros studio labeled “Wedding”, there is speculation of the plot and the cast has kept it all a secret.

There is nothing but excitement though as the days until the premiere quickly approach and as a fan personally I would like to go ahead and apologize to my friends, family, and professors. Why you ask? Because I will be completely useless the week of the premiere and will be unable to function much less talk about anything else.

For those who have never watched the series I strongly suggest you binge watch as many of the seasons as possible before the scheduled release at the end of the month so that you can fully understand the love for Lorelei and Rory’s witty banter about life and why the charm of Stars Hollow truly takes your breath away and that in the words of Wiz Khalia you can “get on my level”.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
