The Three things I Want The Most This Year For Valentines Day

The Gifts To Get Me For Valentine's Day If You're My Boyfriend

I HATE Valentine's Day, I loved it when I was younger. One year I made a Valentine's Day box out of a Kleenex box and shiny pink wrapping paper with hearts on it that I begged my mom to buy me. The next day I went to school with the box in toe proud of what I created. A classmate made fun of my box and from that day on I hated Valentines Day. This year I'm dating a great guy, and there are only three gifts I want him to give me for Valentine's Day.

To my boyfriend, there are only three things I want this year from you for Valentine's Day.

1. Your Hugs

Your hugs can solve any horrible day and make the good ones better. Being wrapped up feeling safe is one of the best feelings. Give me your hugs and make my hatred of Valentines Day bearable.

2. Tell me your favorite memories of us.

We have made many memories together from making Hamburger Helper, watching Rings and me being absolutely terrified after, the adventures of looking at the stars on clear nights pointing out constellations. Tell me your favorite memories of us. Reliving them is one of the things that will bring me happiness on a day I hate.

3. Your Time

Time is such a valuable thing and for someone to give your their time is very meaningful. Give me your time to watch Disney movies or go on a walk outside. You sang the song to me Take Your Time by Sam Hunt at the beginning of our relationship. The time we have given to one another has allowed us to make so many memories. The night we saw the Christmas Trees in Downtown Plymouth and danced in the snow, The night we sang to the elderly at the nursing home together, The time you tipped the waitress over 100% to make her night better and she ended up in tears as it was an $80 tip and we went to the arcade after dinner. Time has allowed us to create the bond we have now.

I don't ask you to spend any money this Valentines Day on me, I don't need a card, I don't like chocolate and I don't need flowers. All I want is your hugs, to know your favorite memories of us and your time.

Love,

Your girlfriend.
