IT'SSSSSSSSS 20 QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back for this week's fun! Tonight's game is a classic, and no, there won't be any vowel-buying, but you all know how to play because I am throw-throw-throwing it back to the third-grade playground.

Some ground rules in case you didn’t go to third grade: The person/place/thing wants to identify itself but needs our help, so it proceeds to ask twenty "yes or no" questions in order to find its identity (and probably some peace of mind).

I'll be your host this evening and my guest star, who cannot "come on down," will introduce it/himself after while. Well, dim the lights...here we go...

  1. Am I a person?
    1. No (You’d like to be)
  2. Am I a place
    1. Yes
  3. Can you eat at me?
    1. Heck yes
  4. Do you eat at me early in the morning?
    1. If you mean finishing cereal boxes at 1 a.m., then, most definitely
  5. Do I serve you food?
    1. Yes (but it’s terrible)
  6. Am I a restaurant?
    1. No
    *audience gasps*
  7. Do you sleep at me?
    1. Yes. Your bed saves me from all hours of the day. On Saturdays, we even sleep in until…”Can I tell my mom I slept until 5pm today? Or should I say 11am?”
  8. Am I your home?
    1. No. I’m sorry for the confusion. I understand that occasionally I accidentally call you home, but no, you are not home.
  9. Do you have a roommate?
    1. Yes
  10. Has she become your best friend?
    1. THE best.
  11. Do you guys bring company over?
    1. Yes
  12. Has this company turned into lifelong friends?
    1. Yes! How did you know?
  13. Do you laugh in me?
    1. Sometimes we can’t stop
  14. Do you cry in me?
    1. Caught me- yes.
  15. Have you learned things in me?
    1. Yes — too much
  16. Do you only learn school things?
    1. No. You have taught us so much more.
  17. Do I protect you?
    1. If you are referring to the knocks on the door that we don’t want to answer, then yes.
  18. Do you stay at me forever?
    1. No.
  19. Will new girls come and replace you guys?
    1. Yes, new girls will come, but no they will not replace us.
  20. Am I a dorm room?
    1. Yes, you are my dorm room, 2409, and I love you so.
    *audience awwwwwws*

BONUS ROUND!!!

  1. Will you miss me?
    1. More than you know.

The memories are endless when it comes to this dorm room. At first, it was cloudy and I could not see the beauty, but it really has become a perfect little gem. There is nothing I needed more than for this room to cramp my style. It quickly taught me that life is not about a room to yourself with a full sized bed. My roommate and I quickly learned how to kill our own bugs. But most importantly, we quickly learned how to make the best out of every situation. 2409, I am so grateful for all you have taught us. You really were the best host for our first year in college, and for that, I thank you. Like I said, we won’t be replaceable, but I would start worrying if the girls next year don’t come in with an area rug. You KNOW they won’t be the same. And for that, I am truly sorry.

*turns to audience* Everyone, give it up for 2409! *crowd goes wild*

Well, that’s all we have time for this week, folks. Yourhomegirl signing off. Have a great night, and we'll see you next week!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
