“The Office” has taken up a storm among viewers everywhere recently. The show was originally released in 2005 but has been getting a lot of attention recently. It is one of the funniest shows… probably ever, so of course, each season would have the funniest moment. *SPOILER ALERT*

Season 1

Between Jim’s first prank on Dwight and diversity day, the funniest moment of season 1 is probably diversity day.

Although Jim’s shenanigans are a staple to the show, nothing shows Michael’s ignorance like diversity day. Only Michael Scott would give Dunder Mifflin employees cards with different races on them, and then tell the employees to treat others like the race on others’ cards.

The funniest part of this is probably when Pam makes a comment about Dwight’s race possibly being bad drivers, and then Dwight says “Aww, am I a woman?!”

Season 2

In Season 2 we are introduced to “the Dundies”, Michael Scott’s version of the Grammys for all of his coworkers.

This is probably the most memorable Dundies in all of the seasons of the office. If you need to jog your memory- this was the one that took place at Chili’s, ending with Pam’s drivers license being xeroxed and her not being allowed in any Chili’s ever again.

Season 3

Season 3 is filled with countless hilarious moments, but the best of them all is probably when Michael takes all the women of the office out to the mall for a day.

As Michael Scott always does, he says so many incredibly stupid things that you just can’t help but laugh at.

However, the time when Michael accidentally wore a women’s pantsuit to work is a close second in my book.

Season 4

By season 4, Michael is still dating Jan. The funniest moment of this season is probably their whole dinner party that the two have. They invite Jim & Pam and Andy & Angela over.

The funniest part of this is probably when Michael and Jan have a screaming fest in front of their guests.

Season 5

Dwight’s fire drill will take the cake every time for the funniest moment of season 5. With all of the Dunder Mifflin employees running amuck, Angela throwing her cat into the ceiling, and Michael’s iconic “Oh God, it’s happening everyone. Stay f*ing calm!”, how can you not laugh until you cry?

Season 6

Every part of the wedding episode… I can’t even pick one moment because so much ridiculous stuff happens.

Whether it’s Andy getting hurt from dancing and having to make Pam drive him to the hospital the night before her wedding, or when Jim outs Pam’s pregnancy in front of everyone, or when Kevin loses his shoes. There isn’t just one moment.

Season 7

When you give Dwight Schrute a manager position… it just can’t be good. Dwight ends up accidentally firing a gun in the office and trying to cover it up, so corporate doesn’t find out.

Season 8

The “garden party” episode will always be the funniest part of season 8. It is Jim’s pranks at their finest. From the fake book that Jim writes for Dwight about how to throw a garden party, to all of the things that Dwight has to do to throw a great garden party, this episode is overall one of the best episodes of the Office ever.

Season 9

Dwight & Angela’s wedding, the show’s finale, is the best episode of the season, filled with plenty of funny moments. The funniest part of the episode, that made viewers shed a few tears, was when Jim pulled his (final) prank on Dwight saying that he could no longer be the best man, only to have Michael show up to surprise Dwight.

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.

1. Finals are weeks away, I’m sure I’ll be ready for them when they come.
