23 'Bird Box' Memes That Are Worth Taking Off Your Blindfold

*Warning* spoilers ahead

This is how I'm facing my problems in 2019

The world has been raving about Netflix's new horror/thriller movie "Bird Box," but what's almost better than the film itself is the countless hilarious memes and funny posts it has inspired.

This new movie stars Sandra Bullock as Malorie, a pregnant, single artist who becomes trapped in a house with strangers after mysterious entities take over the world and force people to commit suicide by the hundreds. The only way to see these creatures is to look outside, leading to an exaggerated use of blindfolds (and therefore, blindfold related memes). The movie follows Malorie coming to terms with her new lifestyle and new responsibilities.

While based on the book "Bird Box" by Josh Malerman, the literature the movie inspires is the real treat. From Twitter to Tumblr to Facebook, there has been no shortage of content for the over 45 million viewers wishing to get more out of the movie than just watching it.

Here are 23 of the funniest "Bird Box" memes that the Internet has come up with, that are sure to make you laugh or at least crack a smile.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead!

1. The only New Year's Resolution you need

Facing my problems in 2019

Me too Sandra Bullock, me too.

2. This one's got the right idea...

me going to get something to drink after watching #BirdBox

*suddenly looks for the closest thing to use as a blindfold*

4. A+ "The Office" reference

Douglas watching gary kill everyone after he warned them...#birdbox

Sidenote: Thank God "The Office" is still on Netflix (for those who don't know, there was a rumor that it was to be taken off January 1st, 2019 but thankfully this was false).

5. This is exactly what I thought too!

Olympia in heaven:

How cute would it have been if she was named Cinderella-like her mother wanted?? (But to be honest, anything is better than Girl.)

6. This one will be completely prepared

*Me next time I hear the wind picking up and birds chirping like crazy*

Wherever you go, always have a blindfold handy just in case...

7. At least whoever lives will have some good Italian food made by these guys

The only one who gonna survive #BirdBox

Maybe the rat will be like the birds and will warn when the entities are coming.

8. All the Directioners out there may be in trouble...

Creature: Did you see One Direction is getting back together?

What? Even the post-apocalyptic world needs fun music!

9. Ouch

Charlie: What was that?

Poor Charlie, he was the angel we all deserved.

10. Another fantastic "Office" reference

Bruh who did this

Spot the difference? I see none.

*curtains

14. The surprised Pikachu meme has never looked better

Douglass: "He's lying"

I knew there was something fishy about him from the beginning.

15. Literally everyone besides Douglas

Gary: *takes out his drawings*

Those drawings were freaky though. Was that what the entity really looked like to him?

16. Helen Keller

I mean, she deserves it.

Top 5 Baby Name of 2019

I think 3 and 4 could be Olympia and Tom. But notice how Cinderella doesn't make an appearance.

19. Conspiracy Theory: the entire movie was one big lead-up to a Febreze commercial

Am I in a febreze commercial...?

I feel like Febreze is generally more innocent, but they may have changed their brand slightly.

20. "Swiper no swiping!"

Olympia letting Gary into the house #Birdbox

Poor Olympia, she tried so hard.

21. Changes my workout routine to this:

Malorie after rowing down the river for 42 hours #birdbox

No but seriously how did she do that? I would probably die.

22. This is some pretty solid advice

Note to self: never travel with Sandra Bullock.

Sandra Bullock movies are??

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
