Can I just ask why? Why would you just leave me?

To the Friend That Left,

I want to start off by saying, I hope you’re doing well. I hope you’re fulfilling all of your hopes and dreams. I hope you’re smiling and loving life. But, I’m not going to say that I don’t miss you. I’m not going to say I don’t wish that we were still friends. I’m not going to say that I am not furious at you for leaving me, but I guess you had a good reason. I hope for whatever reason you left, you found what you were looking for. I hate knowing that I couldn't be good enough for you. I hate knowing that we spent so much time together and I wasn't enough for you to stay. But, things happen right?

I wish I knew why you left. But with you leaving, you have taught me a lot .You taught me that some people are just in your lives for only a short time. You taught me that some people are just not meant to be friends forever, even when you think that should be the case. You taught me that I am a strong girl who can handle people walking in and out of my life, even if it feels like there is a whole in my heart.

Even with all this, I still care for you. I still love you with my heart. I still will always cheer for you. I will still always be here for you.I will always be hurt that you left but I am so happy that you are happy.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
