It's that time of year again. When we pack up all of our stuff in truckloads and all of a sudden move home or to a new city or just generally away from what we've known for the past 9 months. We say goodbye to the friends that we've literally spent all day and night with and brace ourselves for three months of being without them. These are the stages of saying goodbye to your college best friend.
Stage One: I can't wait to leave for summer! Like peace out everyone! I'm so done with this place and all this work.
Stage Two: Do you remember this shirt that you wore that one time this semester and how that night went? Jeez I'm gonna miss you guys this summer but it will be fine. Like it'll be fine.
Stage Three: Wow people are like actually leaving campus. Like this place is getting empty. It's so weird. What am I going to do all summer??
Stage Four: I have friends from home right? Yeah like I can totally hang out with them. Pull it together!!
Stage Five: OMG you're leaving. We're all leaving. I can't go home. Not yet. Like please. I need my friends and my freedom. Please don't go.
