The most wonderful time of the year for most equestrians is sadly coming to an end. That lovely time is none other than the three week long run of the All American Quarter Horse Congress. This year marked the golden fiftieth anniversary of this legendary event and it surely did not disappoint. Here is my list of the five greatest things for you to visit at the Quarter Horse Congress when it comes back next year.

1. All the food: I could likely write an entire other article about the amazing food that there is at the Congress but we will save that for another time. If you visit next year take advantage of the many different options available and try something new! Whether it be a giant cream puff or the unique flavor of bourbon chicken, you can get ahold of just about anything.

2. The Masters: The Congress has two incredible classes called 'The Masters'. These are classes the most exciting to watch because they hold the future of the industry. It is a class of two year old horses competing at a large show for their first time. You get to watch some of the greatest trainers in the country show of their greatest prospects for the upcoming years. It is a ticketed event but it is well worth it for anyone who is a horse enthusiast like me.

3. Shopping galore: For anyone who remotely likes or is involved with horses, the shopping at the Congress is perfect. There are shops for furniture, tack, clothes, supplies, and everything in between. If there is something you need while you are there showing, you will be able to find it. Not only can you buy supplies but you can also stop by the Congress Super Sale and pick up a horse to be your newest partner.

4. The PBR: I was lucky enough to attend the Professional Bull Riding event that is held at the Congress last year. It is such a fun experience to attend with your friends, family or showing team. Even though you are still at the congress it is a nice get away for a night. You are able to just have a night where you don't have to worry or stress about anything.

5. Stall fronts: If you are at the Congress and looking for an entertaining and inexpensive thing to do I suggest looking at all of the incredible stall fronts in the barns. People put so much time and work into their designs and it is truly something incredible.

Although the Congress is almost to an end there is no need to worry because it will be back soon and you can use these ideas to experience the greatest things it has to offer.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
