The First Week of College Classes as told by Keeping Up with the Kardashians

I am happy to report that I survived my first week of college classes, and I have some thoughts. But I thought I'd have my close, personal friends, the Kardashians explain it to you.

1. When you're about to leave for your very first class.

Yeah it's kind of cool to start this new chapter of my life but it does it have to be this early in the morning?

2. When your professor says attendance is part of your grade.

Welp, guess I'll see you this early every morning.

3. When it's only day two of classes, abd you're already done trying to look nice... but you're owning your grossness.

Don't worry about impressing anyone. It's you that's going to have to be comfortable sitting in a two-hour class.

4. When your family calls you every two seconds asking how your classes are.

Mom. They're all fine.

5. When your professor has been going over the syllabus for an hour straight.

Yeah I get it. It's going to be hard. Thank you so much for clarifying.

6. When you've been studying and you feel super duper smart.

It's like I'm a genius.

7. When you remember this is only the first week and you have years and years of this left.

You mean I have to keep working this hard for four more years? And then maybe more school?

8. When you remember that you can do anything you set your mind to.

You got this.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
