The Final Three of 'Big Brother'

The show of the summer 'Big Brother' is coming to an end this week. Since the beginning of summer 2 nights awake I would watch this show. It was a summer full of drama, surprises and twists. There was back stabbing failed alliances and back door evictions and tough competitions. In the end of it all we after 93 days of living in the BB house away from their friends and family we have reached the final three, Nicole, James and Paul. Throughout the season I have jumped all over between the players on who I wanted to win. For now, lets talk about the final three:

James

James is a "vet" he has played on BB before and came back this season to try his luck again and this time he had made it further in his game. He was part of a showmance with Natalie and when they were put on the block together with the results evicting Natalie and allowing James to advance. James played a good game this season. Some competitions he was terrible at and others he was better at. He also played somewhat of a dirty game, by breaking his promises to Bridgette and Frank by putting them both on the block. James knows how to play Big Brother

Paul

Paul has grown to become my favorite during the season of BB. Paul is all about "friendship" if you break the friendship your ass could very well go up on the block. Paul played the game very well. Making multiple alliances and while many of them failed it got him to the final three and he is one step closer to winning a quarter of a million dollars. He won a few HOH competitions and VETO competitions putting him as a threat to all the other house guests. I am glad Paul has made it this far because all of his efforts made this season have really helped him.

Nicole

Let's be honest most of the house guests did not like Nicole that much. Michelle called her out many times on all the crap she pulled and lies she told and ratting people out, but that how you play big brother. If you want to stay in the house you have to target other people. Nicole was only put on the block once this season and it was up against her boy Corey. Nicole and Cory have been in a showmance all summer and I think that they are absolutely adorable. Nicole is also a returner and I think she played her game very well this season. Kicked ass in competitions won HOH a few times and a couple of VETO comps. She mad friends and she made enemies but she played a good game.

I don't know who I really want to win but I am between Paul and Nicole. I just love Paul. I think he is so funny and cool and played the game well. Nicole also played a good game and just seemed to have had fun this summer. It has been a long time since a girl has won 'Big Brother' so it would be nice to see some girl power in the BB hall of fame.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
