The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

Some must-do's and must-try's for the season of fall approaching.

It's back, y'all! The best smelling, prettiest, and in my opinion, BEST season of the year is quickly approaching once again. Fall is almost back! Each year I eagerly await the leaves to change and the temperature to decline to indicate that the season of pumpkins and spice is back, and ladies and gentlemen, it is about that time. Although there are countless things to look forward to about the season of fall, I have put together a list of must-do's, or a bucket list for the season that I hope you all will enjoy along with me!! So, here's my list of this year's fall bucket list:

1. Tailgate and attend a college football game.

If you are anything like me (southern and lover of sports) this needs to be the number one item on your to-do list this fall. Nothing, and i mean nothing, is better than playing corn hole and grilling burgers on a cool Saturday afternoon with thousands of other sports fans. I for one, can't wait for Saturday's spent like this!!

2. Paint some pottery.

Although this isn't a fall-exclusive activity, I have always wanted to paint my own pottery at a studio, and for some reason I think it fits with the season of fall. Whether you choose a coffee mug or a pumpkin plate to paint, this activity would be an awesome way to escape the chilly weather and get creative with some family and friends!

3. Make a fall wreath.

Strolling Hobby Lobby for flowers, ribbon and burlap is my ideal way to spend a Sunday in the fall. No matter how creative or uncreative you may be, Pinterest can help anyone gain inspiration and instruction on how to make a beautiful fall wreath to display on your front door all season long. This is a great way to get into the spirit of the season.

4. Pick and carve pumpkins.

This is probably the most cliche, and awesome, tradition of fall. As if picking your very own pumpkin out of dozens isn't awesome, carving it to your liking is the cherry on top. Of course, when you're done, you have to take a cliche picture with your jack-o-lantern when you're done!

5. Have a Disney movie marathon.

Although all of the Disney movies are classics, I'm currently talking about the Disney Halloween movie classics- like Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown and Twitches, just to name a few. If nothing else, this activity will definitely get you into the spirit of fall.

6. Read (or re-read) the Harry Potter series.

Dreaming about attending Hogwarts is a perfectly acceptable, and preferred, way of spending the chilly days of fall inside. If you haven't done this, or have but not during the cooler months, I definitely recommend it!

7. Attend, throw, or dress up for a Halloween party.

Dressing up is always fun, but especially while celebrating Halloween with friends. Homemade or store-bought costumes are both great ways to get into the spirit of the holiday!

8. Go to a farmer's market.

Nothing tops off the fall season like strolling through a farmer's market and sampling some fresh jam and picking some beautiful flowers. Gather some friends and family on a cool Saturday and head to the farmer's market for some homemade and grown goodies! This is the perfect last must-do on your fall bucket list.

There's plenty of things about fall to look forward to, but making a to-do and bucket list for the season really helps as a new season is approaching. So all of you go out, pick some pumpkins and watch some Hocus Pocus this fall, and make it a great season!!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
