Freshman Year

First week of freshman year: Alright, this is it. I am in college. I will be responsible. I will do all my homework. I will go to every single on of my classes. I will work out. And I will have a healthy social life.

A month into it: Ugh, I missed my 8 a.m. for like the twentieth time this semester. AM I SERIOUSLY FAILING THIS CLASS?? WHAT DID I DO WRONG? Oh, right.... I never went to class.

College (or life) never goes the way you plan it. You party way too much and sleep in even more. Everything is out of whack because you are in control. And if you choose to mess up, you get to. Because your parents aren't there to punish you.

Maybe you end up on academic probation, so you promise yourself to be better the next year.

Sophomore Year

You know how you made that promise to do better? JUST KIDDING. You kinda do it. You still party way too much, you stay up way too late and miss class far too often. But it's good, your GPA is looking good. You got this!

Junior Year

This is the year you kind of have to become an adult, even though you don't feel like it. You feel the pressure of the real world coming at you but you don't really know what to do. Your resume doesn't fill up to half the page! So you start to stress out about getting a job after graduation and paying off your loans. About 69% of you wants to quit and hide from the government because... loans.

Senior Year

Oh no! It's almost time for graduation! You kind of never want to graduate but on the other end, you can't wait to get f**k out of this town. You have work, internships, applications, and just life in general... but no time to relax. You think to yourself, "Is this what rest of my life will be like from now on?". But it's okay because you're about to graaaaadduuuuaaateeee!

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
