The Evolution Of Seattle Grace

Seattle Grace Hospital, home of our favorite doctors, has been through a lot.

Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama based on the famous hospital. Honestly, I think this hospital deserves to be its own character. It has been through so much, including almost dying! I mean almost getting shut down. I think the hospital of the show deserves a chance to be in the spotlight.

1. Seattle Grace

This was the beginning. The pilot included this magnificent hospital. All of our favorite surgeons started here. Cristina, Meredith, Izzie, Alex and poor George. They were the beginning, and we're going to miss them forever. At least we still have two left...

2. The Bomb

This was one of the most heart racing episodes of the series. I was terrified and heartbroken for the paramedic whose hand was stuck in the patient. Obviously, Meredith Grey had to be the hero and stepped in, which made the episode even better.

3. Seattle Grace Mercy West

How can we forget the episode when the hospital was flooded with orange scrubs? It was hard to adjust to all the new interns that were messing with the original gang, but Jackson and April were definitely great additions.

4. The HUGE Shooting

This was a terrifying episode. We lost some of the new Mercy West residents and we almost lost Karev and Shepherd. It was terrifying!

5. Seattle Grace Mercy Death

How can we forget this infamous nickname? The plane crash, shooting, bombing and Meredith's drowning has earned this hospital a horrible nickname that wanted to make even Cristina leave.

6. Grey Sloan Memorial

Naming this hospital after the iconic couple that have hopefully ended up in Grey's heaven was heart-warming. This hospital is the home of an iconic show, couples and characters; no matter how many of them have died or left.
