Halloween (1978)
Michael Myers first appears as a murderous blonde boy who is sent to a mental health institution after killing his family on Halloween. On that night he was wearing a clown costume and was sent to a mental health institution. After 15 years he breaks out of that institution and he wears the iconic navy blue jumpsuit with a Captain kirk mask painted white. He returns back to his hometown for a bloody massacre and where he stalks his sister Laurie Strode. Michael in the end falls off a balcony and is presumed dead.
Halloween II (1981)
In Halloween II it picks up on that same Halloween night. Michael Myers is alive and is searching for revenge. In this film, Michael is bulkier and his hair has changed from dark brown to a reddish color. Michael is not successful in killing his sister who shoots him and he is set on fire.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
Michael Myers does not appear in Halloween III: Season of the Witch except on a brief television commercial.
Halloween 4: Return of Michael Myers (1988)
After waking up from a coma, Michael Myers is covered with bandages and finds a navy blue jumpsuit and a new white mask that features a shocked expression. Once he learned of his sisters death, he hunts and stalks his niece. He then gets shot and falls into a mine shaft.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)
Michael Myers is alive yet again and is nursed back to health. He tries to find his niece and is set behind bars but manages to escape. In this movie Michael has longer hair that is orange and the white captain kirk mask that has now aged.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
In this film Michael needs to kill his family because of a druid curse. In this film, the jumpsuit has now been updated and the mask is closer to how it was in the first Halloween movie. In the movie he is unsuccessful and is tranquilized to sleep.
Halloween H20 (1998)
This film ignores the plots of films three to six. Michael searches for his sister Laurie and his mask now shows some parts of his eyes. He has frizzier hair in this film as well. When Michael finally meets up with his sister she decapitates him.
Halloween Resurrection (2002)
Michael Myers fakes his own death yet again! In this film he manages to kill his sister. In this film he has the white mask with the addition of noticeable makeup. He is electrocuted in the end of the film and presumed dead. Is he dead for real? Who knows but it does not matter as the films were rebooted.
Halloween (2007)
In this reboot Michael Myers is introduced as a murderous blonde boy. After being sent to the institution for killing his family he grows up to be built and stronger then the first film. His hair is also longer and this film focuses more on Michael Myers's past. The mask is close to how the original one looked like in the first Halloween but is more dirtier. His jumpsuit is also no longer navy blue.
Halloween II (2009)
In this reboot sequel of Halloween II Michael looks much noticeably different. His mask is falling apart and is revealing his extremely rotten face. He is no longer sporting a jumpsuit but different clothes which includes a heavy jacket.
Halloween (2018)
The newest and latest Halloween film starts off fresh and features a camera shy Michael. In this movie he breaks out of prison, finds his mask original white mask which is much more dirty than the original film that was used. He also has the navy blue jumpsuit that we all recognize. He hunts down his sister Laurie Strauss who is much older and the plot twist comes: Michael Myer's psychologist wants to be the new Michael Myer's and when Michael is unconscious he gets his mask to try and be the new villain. Michael does not like that idea and kills him. Laurie and Michael fight one final battle before her family traps him in their basement and set it on fire (which we have seen is an effective way to kill him).
Halloween Kills (2021)
This full mask features pale gray skin with sunken features and matted brown hair as well as an open flap at the base of the neck. The movie starts off after the 2018 Halloween remake where Michael Myers (as predicted) escapes the fire from the basement.
