Being short is one of the biggest struggles out there. It has its up and downs, mostly downs, but every short girl knows how difficult it is.

1. Trying to keep up with all your friends.

Their relaxed stroll is our demise and cardio for the day.

2. Cooking? More like climbing.

Climbing the counters to reach something on the middle shelf should be an Olympic event.

3. Bathroom mirrors are a nightmare.

Will we ever know what the bottom half of our faces look like?

4. Clothes never fit right.

Well maybe if petite actually fit me, I wouldn't have to buy children clothes.

5. Gyms were not designed for us.

The shortest height setting is still way to tall for us, always.

6. All pools are the deep-end.

Treading is horrible.

7. Driving is not easy.

Sun visors don't help, at all, I can't reach my pedals and I can't see over the steering wheel.

8. Step stools are your best friend.

And if someone hides it, its World War III

9. Tall people constantly using your head as an armrest.

Get your arm off of me before I break it.

10. Looking up all the time is a pain in the neck, literally.

Even trying to reach up and see what's going on, we miss so much.

11. Being mistaken for a kid.

No, I am not 14.

12. Grocery shopping is not fun at all.

Another day, another workout.

13. Getting trampled...all the time.

I know you see me..

14. "How tall ARE you?"

Short...I'm short.

We do have some advantages, though, like almost never being taller than a guy/most girls. We won't get struck by lightning, blankets are always a perfect size and our feet never dangle off the end of a bed. It's not all bad.
