The End Of Summer As Told By SpongeBob

What better way to express how you feel than through SpongeBob?

The End Of Summer As Told By SpongeBob

As summer draws to a close, there are lots of things to do, places to go, people to see, etc. You get the picture. These are some of the things you might feel along the way.

1. You feel like you'll never hang out with your friends again.

2. So you make plans every day...

3. Because when you're no longer surrounded by your friends, it'll suck.

4. So you trudge in the door at 2 a.m. every "morning" looking like you've never slept a day in your life.

5. Which seems like a good idea until you're falling asleep at work.

6. Speaking of responsibilities, the last two weeks before you go back have you running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

7. Sometimes you have to take a (long) break from being responsible.

8. And sometimes it takes longer than you anticipated.

9. You freak out when you think about how much you have left to do.

10. Occasionally, you have a nightmare about forgetting how to do basic math or spell your own name.

11. You'd do anything to have no responsibilities and just stay at home and sleep all day.

12. But you know that once you get back to your school, there's no place you'd rather be.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
