Thanksgiving is over and all we can think about is Christmas break. The only problem: two weeks of total hell known as dead week and finals week. Your professors decide that they want a project and a paper due in the same week and you haven't even begun to start studying for finals. Mostly because your professors are still teaching new material during dead week. Your diet consists of coffee and whatever junk food you can find to stress eat. Here are some works of art throughout the ages that perfectly describe how we're feeling:

1. “How’s dead week going?”

2. When someone asks to look at your study sheets “just to compare notes"

3. When your professor offers you last minute extra credit:

4. When your professor is still teaching new material on the last day of the semester and says it’s going to be on the final:

5. When you call your mom to tell her how mean your professor is being and she agrees with you:

6. When you hear Christmas music start to play and you remember finals are almost over:

7. When you’ve been studying for 7 hours and you realize you’re not even half way through the material:

8. When you're stressed and take it out on your roommate:

9. When you know you need to study but you just want to lay in bed and watch Netflix

10. When something your professor promised wouldn’t be on the final is on the final:

11.Waiting for your final exam grades to be posted like:

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
