As the end of the semester is coming to a close within a few weeks, it feels like an eternity in purgatory. As of right now, I look at the clock one moment and do homework. I look up and only ten minutes have passed. What is this?! I sigh heavily and continue on. The end of the semester couldn't take this long to come.

Too much to do and so little time right? I'm running out of minutes!

There's papers due, exams to study for, procrastinated readings and homework to finish, plus time to shower and eat and maybe a little time to breathe. By the time sitting down is actually an option, you feel like you've died several times before this and you just keep going. Laying your head on the pillow, all you can think about is if this nightmare of the last few weeks of the semester will end.

Here's how the characters from Supernatural describe the end of the semester:

1. Your dorm or bedroom becomes your own panic room.

2. You begin to misplace everything--your cell phone, your ID, your keys, your studying material, your textbooks, your sanity---you may even lose a shoe.

3. When you forget to do homework and study for an exam.

4. When you try to form words in a conversation about how you feel at this point, but can't.

5. When you have a small break, a game like Cards Against Humanity makes you lose it.

6. You claim you're studying....which turns out to not be true.

7. Coffee is a must. If you haven't had your coffee by class time, you become sassy.

8. You finally emerge from your dorm after hours of studying/homework. People are surprised. Rightfully so.

9. Your brain is so crammed full of information that you forget what you were talking about.

10. A shower is the last thing on your mind.

11. You'd rather look over your friend's textbook, because you don't feel like grabbing your own.

12. All you want for Christmas is sleep, the sleep you were deprived of all semester.

The semester is almost over. You've come too far to hit the breaks now. You can do it! Don't forget all the hard work you put in, because all those hours of studying and sleepless nights will be worth it. It's almost done, then you can breathe and feel accomplished.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
