The end of a college semester can be daunting. Exams, discussion boards, papers, and last minute assignments have a finality to them. For those of us that haven't graduated school yet, it's another one in the books. If it's the end of the spring semester, there's the summer and fall sessions to think about. Anxiety's over the last few months are starting to dwindle, but new ones replace it for future classes. We'll enter the unknown again about what the professor's expect, and what fresh requirements another syllabus will bring.
The end of another semester means excitement to be done with current classes, and the hope to receive another A, or at least an A-. The end means being closer to graduating, and finally having that degree. It means more opportunities to succeed in the future. No more holding back when it comes to new opportunities presented. It becomes security for a brighter future, and feeling distinguished with our advanced education. Your mind is now filled with so many diverse subjects. Your eyes are open to ideas you were naïve about before.
If you're lucky to say you're finally done with college, be proud of your accomplishment. You finally have that degree to add to a resume. It even looks good on your wall if you ever get to framing it. You can go into the world with confidence from your success. You can say, "I did it".
So the job market is a little iffy right now, you still have a one up on anyone that hasn't quite finished up their degree. More and more companies now require a degree of some type. With your bachelor's degree successfully behind you, considering a master's degree is now a possibility. It might mean more school, which can be a drag, but it is also an opportunity to learn even more.
So if you're saying good bye until the next session of classes begin, or you're saying good bye to college forever or for the time being, remember the hard work you put in, the information you learned, and the opportunities you have to succeed.
