The End of An Era: 'Naruto' is Coming to an End

It is the end of an era, "Naruto Shippuden" has finally come to an end after 500 episodes. 500 glorious episodes and it is all over, but fear not there is a spinoff!! I am super excited to watch Naruto and Hinata’s son, Boruto, take on the hidden leaf village and try to become the next Hokage.

This is a spoiler alert but the final episode of "Naruto" is the wedding of the two lovers and that is how it ends. Which is really a great way to end the series. If you were so inclined to watch Naruto all the way through Shippuden, you watched upwards of 800 episodes and read countless chapters of the manga. This is such a bittersweet ending considering, as most believed, the series would kind of just go on forever.

We started watching the number one knuckle head ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village grow up for a true genuine that couldn’t perform the simplest of jutsu to honing his inner demon and saving the world alongside his friends Sasuke and Sakura.

By far this amine really got you invested within the characters. We truly feel for Naruto when he is struggling and doing poorly and you get genuinely happy when he is doing well. You as a viewer run through a gambit of emotions, which is really what an anime was supposed to do.

I am really excited to see what the Boruto saga has to offer in an anime. I watched the trailer and it looks great. The trailer starts off at the chunine exams, so it definitely skips his childhood or does it? It is yet to be seen! But during the exam it shows off his father’s signature shadow clone jutsu, which is always nice to see but there are some other twists involved.

I am curious to see what happens to the nine tailed fox in the "Boruto" series, because it would only make sense that he would inherit its power. I am also curious to see the other tykes in the hidden leaf and how they fair in battles just as their parents had.

As of right now there are some many conspiracy theories running around that I really don’t know what to believe until the show actually airs. Supposedly it is supposed to being its run mid-April. I am ready now, April can’t come fast enough!

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
