If you haven't heard Adele's new song "Hello, listen here and feel all the feelings you never even knew you had. It's an emotional roller coaster.
Stage 1: Hearing the song for the first time and internally combusting.
Adele is officially back and better than ever with her new single. It's like she knew you needed to cry about a boy for a little while so she put this song out specifically for you.
Stage 2: Listening to it again because you were too busy screaming and crying to fully appreciate the song the first time around.
The first time through you really didn't even hear the lyrics in all the excitement, so you play "Hello" again and really soak it all in, in all its emotional, heartfelt glory.
Stage 3: Wondering where on earth Adele has been the past 3 years.
I just have so many questions. Where did Adele go? Why did she abandon us like that? Has she been planning this incredible song the whole time? Can I be Adele's best friend?
Stage 4: Watching the music video and really feeling the whole sepia/flip-phone vintage vibe.
For some strange reason I kind of miss my Razor flip phone. Thanks, Adele.
Stage 5: Hearing "Hello" on the radio and making all of your friends shut up so you can enjoy it and sing along.
"Can we talk about what you're wearing to semi-formal after this song, please? Adele is important!"
Stage 6: Re-listening to all of Adele's old songs and questioning how you've survived the past 3 years without her.
How did I forget all about "21"? Why do I not listen to "Chasing Pavements" every single second of every day?
Stage 7: Thinking about who it could possibly be that Adele called that wouldn't call her back.
If Adele ever calls you on the phone, you answer. The end.
Stage 8: Crying and feeling like calling your 7th-grade boyfriend to tell him you miss him.
*Looks-up boy on Facebook I haven't seen since 2008* *Cries*
Stage 9: Crying some more because you realize Adele's new CD is coming out in November.
My body is ready. I've spent the last 3 years mentally and emotionally preparing for this. I just need to stock up on tissues. Bring it on, Adele.
Stage 10: Feeling whole again because Adele is officially back.
Just give her all the Grammy's already, what are we even waiting for?
