Going to New York City can be fun. I mean who doesn't like walking around and seeing the large skyscrapers towering over him or her. It is one of the greatest feelings...for a time being. New York City can be a fun hang out place for one day but here is why New York City can become very annoying:
1. Packed subways: Especially during rush hour. No one wants to smell the terrible odor of another person, and standing next to people on a hot train is not fun, trust me. You can get hit in the face with someones armpit, you might not have something to grab on and everyone falls on top of you if the train comes to an abrupt stop. Not only that but there is a good chance you might miss your stop because everyone wants to get in and out of the train and you're stuck in between.
2. The Crowd Of Time Square: If you ever walked into Time Square, have fun looking for a way out in less than a minute because once you're in you are never getting out. It is like a never ending maze over there. There is always a large crowd at all times of day and if you are traveling in pairs, you better hold hands because you will lose each other.
3. The Smell: Who says that New Jersey is the armpit of America? Because last time I checked, its neighbor is having trouble keeping the bathroom smelling great. The amount of garbage that sits around the city is ridiculous, making the city smell like garbage. New York is a beautiful city, but with all the garbage being thrown onto the ground, it is hard to see that.
4. Traffic: Never a time in the day where there isn't traffic. Traffic is not something everyone wants to deal with on a daily basis, but try dealing with it on an hourly basis? Welcome to New York City.
5. Tourist: The one place many tourist want to see when visiting the United States of America, is New York. It is one of the most popular tourist spots in the country. During the summer is when a lot of tourists visit the city and all you see are cameras and selfie sticks..."Say Cheese!"
New York city is a fun place to go to with friends and family; you can see a play or take a walk to a great cafe. But visiting New York City on a daily basis or even living there can be a hassle. But then again, the city are for people who genuinelylove the rush. As far as I know, I can't deal with all of that mess over there. I'll just stay in my cozy house up in New Jersey where the noise pollution is low.
