Deciding between two presidential candidates; which do you prefer?

Two choices stand before you. One is a crazed billionaire who wants to erect walls and has no problem speaking his mind and throwing political correctness to the wind. He belittles women and the disabled, and clearly has split his own party into factions, merely by running. The other is a woman who has continuously run for the presidency. She has had problems with truth-telling when it comes to her previous endeavors and is known for changing her mind in the midst of her campaign.

Many believe that they would rather vote for a president that is transparent so that they don’t have to worry about surprise decisions. They would prefer honesty and predictability, no matter how biased, rude, offensive, and moronic. Despite many obvious shortcomings, and inconsistencies, they would prefer to go with a candidate that they think will never deceive them. Even though he has managed to split his own party, and cause mass chaos throughout the country, they appreciate the fact that he is unapologetic, and refuses to be politically correct.

On the other hand, there are those who believe that experience trumps transparency every time. That they would rather have a candidate who has held power and been in politics for numerous years and therefore has the experience and knowledge necessary for running the country. Despite her habit of changing her views during her campaign, many take the fact that the views still lay within party limits to justify her indecision. The tradition of having politicians running the country trumps the belief that it will take an outsider to correct the country.

This year’s presidential race is frequently described as there being no good choices, and that the voters are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They can either choose the devil that they know, are the devil that they don’t. No one is happy with the choices that have been presented to them, and now many Americans are truly beginning to see the problems that are present within our government. However, voters must still choose a candidate in order for our country to continue onwards, and hopefully towards a brighter future. The citizens of the United States must believe that the president elected this year can at least keep America coasting until able to find its footing as one of the great world powers again.

This November 8th, who will you vote for? Donald Trump? Or Hilary Clinton? Republican or Democrat? Conservative or liberal? Will you choose the devil you know? Or will you choose the devil you don’t? It’s up to you to decide.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
