Everybody knows 'em and loves 'em, but everyone also has their favorites. So here is the definitive ranking of Disney princesses.

***DISCLAIMER: Only the original eight princesses are being considered. Sorry, Rapunzel.

8. Aurora

This girl just sleeps the entire time. That's all.

7. Cinderella

Cinderella is a fun movie to watch and all but she herself is a subpar princess. She doesn't do anything. She doesn't stand up to her step mother. She doesn't even make her own clothes, she makes the mice do it. She doesn't get herself to the ball, her godmother has to do everything. She couldn't even keep both her shoes on.

6. Snow White

Snow White is kind of whiny and stayed in a house of seven strange men so that was probably a bit dangerous. She did escape her murder-y step mother so she does have that going for her. She just doesn't really do much besides sing and clean. Overall, boring.

5. Ariel

We've reached the lower half of the rankings, folks. Ariel's alright but she didn't listen to any of her family and messed with Ursula who is bad news. Somehow she still got the boy even though she didn't have a voice and combed her hair with a fork. Mad props.

4. Jasmine

Jasmine's just a cool girl. Just take a look at her accessorizing. And she's somehow tamed a tiger into being her house pet. Also her boy, Aladdin, is definitely the hottest prince on the block.

3. Pocahontas

Pocahontas singlehandedly joined together two sworn enemies and made them friends. She took her love for nature and showed the English people that there was more to the Earth than just territory. Also her cheekbones are so fierce and her hair always looks like it's been freshly blown out. Goals.

2. Mulan

This girl defeated the entire Hans army so she's clearly got a lot going for her. She joined the army in disguise to protect her sick father from having to go to war and proved that women are just as capable of kicking butt as men. Also she had a talking dragon for a friend so bonus points for fun sidekick.

1. Belle

Belle is obviously the best. First, she goes to the castle to save her dad so she's brave and very family oriented. Cool. She's an avid reader and turns down powerful men - most princesses don't do either of those. And she dated a man who looked like a scary monster because she knew deep down he was kind and the love of her life so she's open and nonjudgemental. Whatta gal.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
