Go forth my child and make the world your own.
Dream of castles and damsels.
Dream of dragons and thrones.
Realities like these may appear as solid gold,
But it takes a fool to know
What is sturdy and what is broke.
All my life I dreamed these dreams,
The manuscripts of a daydreamer’s mind,
But I failed to publish what I thought
And watched my creations slowly die.
The more I soared, the higher I dreamed.
I grew apart from the world. I forgot reality.
Your mind itself is a dangerous place.
Behinds bush's lies the devil
With an apple for taste.
Resist, please resist. Resist and awake.
Dreams are a danger, they plagiarize a life you know.
Dreams falsify neighbors. Dreams inhibit growth.
Heed my warning, but rest with ease.
Your dreams lack venom when partnered with sleep.
A dangerous dream is with eyes open wide,
Dreams of a life you wish, not the life you abide.
