The Comeback Show

How Come These Shows Were Forgotten.

The Comeback Show

This decade has been the comeback one! Everything is coming back from hairstyles to those hideous clothes you thought you’d never see again. Most importantly old TV shows. Most shows these days are getting a reboot. Popular one likes Full House (the next generation all grown up), Gilmore Girls (what happened after the series finale), even the movie Heathers is apparently becoming a TV show; which looks terrible from the trailer. There are some shows I would like to see make a comeback, either re-made or the next generation.

1. A Different World

It's been 26 years since Whitley and Dwayne and the rest of the gang graduated from Hillman College. Last we saw W & D got married in 92' had a child and moved to Japan for a break in his career. We need to see what the rest of the gang has been up to and let's be real, their kids should be in college by now. A New World needs to be in production, ok A Different World: Next Generation.

2. Gossip Girl

OK, so this has been discussed among the world of millenniums. Everyone saw the post on the web and hopefully, this is true, we want the gang of the Upper East Side back. It's been ten years since we last saw them, and hey, we can flash up the time period and talk about their children as well. Just give us a movie!

3. Ugly Betty

Betty Suarez is long over due for a comeback. The show ended in 2010 with much un answered questions Ike, did Daniel and she gets together after they moved to London for work. What's going on at Mode with Wilhelmina and how's Marc been. A much-needed update is due, maybe something like the Gilmore Girls did.

The list can go but I'll leave these here for you to think about.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
