First, I want to say congratulations to you for taking the next step in your education. People may think it's a standard for you to go to school, but it always isn't that easy. It seems like there's 1 million obstacles keeping you from achieving your goals, but you surpassed them and you're growing as a person.
Second, you don't necessarily need a full proof plan. Set small goals and as you complete them set bigger goals. Just because it may seem like your friends are going off and doing these amazing things, does not make your achievements any smaller. You are there, you're getting the job done, and you're working your butt off. That is all that matters. Everyone moves at a different pace.
And finally, do what you love. From theater to medical school, stay committed to who you want to be. Don't let outsiders influence you to major in anything different.
