Because of the Emilie Strong Smith Grant, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark. Three things I learned while there are: The pastry known as the Danish is not actually Danish. The city is on fire! Seriously, the city has caught fire multiple times and is now home to statues of dragons that protect the city. The word for cozy is hyggeligt (hoo-gully), and the city is hyggeligt, hyggeligt, hyggeligt and those dragons are doing great! It was freezing while I was there; no fires in sight.
