To the Boys Who Will Marry My Best Friends,

First of all, just know that before she was your best friend, she was my best friend. You will never be able to replace that. We will have more inside jokes than y’all will ever have, and you will be trying to figure them out until the day your breathe your last breath. We might tell you then, but probably not.

Please lead her in the way that the Lord leads the Church. Please love her like Jesus loves us. Please help her lead y’all’s family on the narrow way that leads to eternal life. Please be the best father to her children because she is going to be the BEST mom ever!

We wear our knees out praying for you. We pray all the time. I pray for you; she for sure has been praying for you. I can’t wait to have a front row seat of y’all’s love story and just be able to witness all of the awesome things God is going to do through you both, in your relationship and your marriage. She is waiting patiently for you, so please please hurry because if you don’t, someone else is going to snatch her up.

Take care of her because if you don’t, we’re gonna have a problem. Got it? Okay good.

Love,

The Maid of Honor

morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
