Disclaimer: I am not a professional and don't have any fitness related qualifications. Please keep in mind that this is what worked for me but something else might work better for you!

Barry's Bootcamp

Barry's Bootcamp is my absolute favorite workout class and will forever hold a special place in my heart.

The key to Barry's is that you need to stick with it. With Barry's, it's all about endurance, so it's important to go to classes regularly - or you won't see as great results.

If you do stick with it, the results are amazing! I've seen such incredible results in my stamina and my muscle mass.

The lighting in the room is red, hence the term "Red Room" and I don't know what it is about this lighting - but you CANNOT look bad! I don't know about you, but I find it very empowering when I look good working out to go even harder.

If you haven't been to Barry's before, it is a treadmill and floor based workout class on the absolute best treadmills ever that absorb shock to reduce stress on your joints. Barry's definitely gets your heart-rate going and the interval changes on the treadmill make it so much easier to go your hardest, without getting bored of the treadmill.

One of my favorite instructor's is Amanda Asaro, but all of the instructors are extremely empowering and have the absolute best playlists. Something I love about Barry's is the themed classes, so keep an eye out for those!

Barry's, like most, if not all, workout classes, can be expensive, so definitely look out for deals! Classpass is a budget friendly option that Barry's is available on! Additionally, if you bring a first timer to Barry's, you get a free class! They also offer a first free class!

OrangeTheory

Like Barry's OrangeTheory is something you need to stick with to see results.

What I like about OrangeTheory is that it includes a rowing machine in the workout, which is something that I haven't seen in any other workout class I've done.

I love OrangeTheory's rotation between the rower, treadmill and floor because I have a short attention span, especially when it comes to working out, so switching between things so often is great for me to stay motivated and keep working hard!

OrangeTheory focuses heavily on heart-rate and they provide heart rate monitors to track how effectively you are working out, breathing and exerting yourself. I really like this aspect of the class, because I always wonder how effectively I am working out.

OrangeTheory is also expensive, but definitely keep an eye out for deals! They do offer your first class free as well as package deals!

Barre

Lastly, I am a firm believer in barre classes! If you are more of a fan of low impact / high intensity focus classes, barre is perfect for muscle toning that is way less intense but still extremely successful!

With doing barre classes, my legs, arms and (nonexistent) abs have become infinitely more toned!

Barre is ballet inspired low impact muscle toning that seriously burns hard considering how low impact the workout is.

I've gone to Flywheel Barre, Pure barre and Studio 50, but any barre class would work! Classpass offers a lot of different barre class options that make it a bit more affordable to take these classes!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
