So it's every college kid's worst time of the year: final exams. I personally always wait until last minute to do everything, so here are my favorite shows I've watched and deem worthy of "binge-watching."

The Office

The show that usually comes to mind when thinking about binge-worthy shows. One of the first shows I ever binged watched. With Jim and Dwight's crazy shenanigans and Michael's hilarious outbursts, this show is sure to please. Streaming on Netflix.

The Handmaid's Tale

The latest of my binging. This is set in the future where not many women can get pregnant, but the ones who can are forced into becoming breeders they call "handmaids". Very addicting and can finish in one day! Streaming on Hulu.

Bob's Burgers

One of my favorites. The crazy characters and pun-filled burger names make me laugh every time. Gene is actually the star of this show. Streaming on Hulu CAUSE NETFLIX TOOK IT OFF.

Parks and Recreation

My favorite live action tv show. This show is so addictive with its relatable characters that can resonate with any and everyone. Mine is personally Ron Swanson. Follows the lives of people working in the Parks and Rec department in a small Indiana town. Streaming on Netflix and Hulu.

Dexter

The one my dad forced me to watch over Christmas break freshman year. This show was so so so good and a perfect binge show since there are seven seasons. It's a dude who works for the Miami Police Department but kills serial killers on the side. Full of twists and turns in a good way. Streaming on Netflix and Hulu.

Rick and Morty

Crazy and full of new references you'll start using after watching. Follows the adventures of a twelve-year-old boy (Morty) and his scientist grandpa (Rick). Get schwifty cause it's streaming on Hulu.

Shameless

Another on my dad made me watch. Not the most family friendly haha. Follows the lives of a low-class family living in Chicago with plenty of crazy turns every episode. Streaming on Netflix and Hulu.

Friends

The perfect show for some background noise for studying. Or binge since there are a whopping ten beloved seasons of this 90's classic. Chronicles the lives of six friends living in New York trying to figure out their own lives in adulthood. Streaming on Netflix and Hulu.

Stranger Things

Remember in the fall of 2016 when Stranger Things was all anyone could talk about? Well if you didn't succumb to peer pressure, you should now. The story is based in a small town in Indiana in the 1980's. A lab has terrible mishaps and causes the whole town to suffer. Streaming on Netflix.

American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson

I LOVE EVERYTHING THIS SHOW COMES OUT WITH. Although there are only 2 seasons, like AHS each season takes a look at a new crime in American history. Right now they are doing The Assassination of Gianni Versace which is also very good. The People vs. OJ gives an unbiased look at what happened the day of the killings and the year-long trial. Streaming on Netflix.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
