Tired of sitting in your room studying? Check out some of these cool places to study at UT!
1. Plant Park
Plant Park, located just along the river is the perfect place to study. There are a bunch of trees that provide shade and plenty of sunny spots to get your tan on while hitting the books. Not to mention, you get to look at the river and downtown when you study (scenic). Only downside is there are always festivals going on across the river at Curtis Hixon Park so it can be loud at times.
2. Starbucks
Everybody loves Starbucks. The fairly new Starbucks on campus is the place to be if you have to study or get work done. There are study rooms (good luck getting one) and tons of tables inside and outside. However, if you study there a lot you’ll most likely end up spending all your Spartan dollars.
3. Rathskellers
This may sound odd but Rathskellers is one of the best places to study at. There may be no internet, but if you need a quiet space to study and get stuff done, it’s the perfect place. You can also get a delicious sandwich or crepe while you study.
4. The library
Obviously, the library had to make the list. The library is a great place to go to study, always quiet and the wifi always works there.
5. The computer labs
The computer labs on campus are usually very quiet and a great place to study. Plus you have access to a printer if you need one.
